Review: Splat Long Lasting Color

Hello Lovelies!

Today I am back with another hair product review. This product was sent to me for review and since I wear a hijab I tested it on my friend. This product comes with a bleach and the actual hair colour. I personally didn't use the bleach because my friend didn't want to bleach her hair.
I requested the colour Purple Desire Mauve.
It claims to be a semi permanent colour if you use the bleach. If not it comes out within a couple showers.
This is what the product looks like. Its really goopy and can easily make a big mess so be really careful and use dark towels when applying this product.
We only did a small strand of hair to test it out. We applied the product and waited the proper amount of time and then rinsed it out. A lot of product came out during the rinse. It basically left the hair looking like it had not been dyed.
It quite honestly stained the skin better than her hair lol!

You can kind of see it among her hair. It didn't really show well because her hair is black.
If this product interests you, it can be purchased on FarleyCo's website.
It retails for $14.99.
Overall this product is nice if you wanna use it with bleach. The colour will show up much more vibrant if bleach first. But even without the bleach the colour is subtle enough to do your entire head of hair. After all it does come out in just a few showers. I don't like how messy it is though. The product is very liquidy. I would give it a 6/10.

I'm sorry I've been so MIA from uploading regular blog posts on a proper schedule but you will soon find out why. Thanks for being patient and supportive!

Wedding Glam Makeup Look

Hello Lovelies!

I've had a couple weddings in the past 2 months that I attended. They were for close family members of mine so of course I have to get dolled up for these occasions. I thought I would share my go to signature makeup look that I do for weddings.
I love incorporating purple and mauve tones for eyeshadows because they suit my dark brown eyes and I like how it looks. I also love pairing any eye look with winged eye liner.
Lebanon was very hot and humid so I needed budge proof makeup! Everything I used stayed put the whole day through sweat and heat and hours of dancing!
I used all Makeup Geek shadows because they are the best shadows ever! They never crease on me and they last all day and blend flawlessly!
Here is a list of all the products I used that day!
Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Cashew
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Light Medium Neutral
Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
Anastasia Contour Kit
Sephora Baked Blush in Tea Rose Tickle

My trip to Lebanon!

Hello Lovelies!

I'm back from my trip to Lebanon!!
Finally I am back and I can continue to post on my regular schedule! I had a great time in Lebanon and so I thought I would do a travel log type of post to share some pictures with you amazing people! Hope you enjoy!
We left on September 13th. We had 3 stops and 3 planes which sucked but the trip in general was short. When we arrived our whole family was waiting for us at the airport. Thats always my favourite part of going to Lebanon. Seeing everyone you love waiting at the gates for you and running into their arms!
Lebanon is a stunning country. It has mountains for days and the view is absolutely breathtaking!
This scenery is in the village area of Lebanon. I stayed mostly in Beirut with my sister in law but we occasionally visited the country side.
I learned to wrap my scarf differently. I never liked the way I wrapped my hijab but I never knew how to change it to suit my face. I did it like this in Lebanon and never looked back!
Our main purpose of going to Lebanon was to attend my sister in law's wedding! My husband has two sisters. His younger sister was getting married and her wedding was beautiful! She was a gorgeous bride!
We had a blast at her wedding. After the wedding the whole family hopped in their cars and we all sat outside the windows and honked and blasted our music as we drove across the Mediterranean shore for an hour! We then dropped off the bride and groom at their house and went home! It was an unforgettable night!
Her wedding was on the second day of Eid so on the third day my husband and I went down the village to visit my family. My whole extended family lives in the country side so went to celebrate the last day of Eid with them. It was nice and I got to enjoy some yummy sweets!

There are really nice café's on the shore in Beirut and my friends took me out for a nice evening on the Raouché! It was really fun!
They also took me to a private beach for girls only! I tanned and swam and it was awesome!
Then my husband and I went out for Sushi in downtown Beirut. It was delicious!
I love downtown Beirut! Its so cool to go shopping down there!
I also loved to do makeup on my sister in law! I pretty much did her makeup everyday! This look was a gorgeous fall inspired look that I did on her and she got compliments on it the whole day! It looked so beautiful on her!
Me and my sis in law on my last day in Lebanon went to the beach to take a walk and take some photos of the Raouché rock!
They are huge in person!
My cousin is a talented interior deisgner and artist. She free handed this painting for me and I already have it up on my wall in makeup room! Love it!
And then the trip was over and we were on a plane back. It was a peaceful trip back and the view was incredible!

So those were some pictures of my trip! Hope you enjoyed! I had a great time and was glad I got a chance to get away from reality for a bit!
