Review: Irresistible Me Sapphire 8 in 1 Complete Curling Wand

Hello Lovelies!

I am back with a very different type of post than my usual but I love this product so much that I had to share. I was approached by a company called Irresistible Me and they offered to send me some of their products to test out.
They are line of hair products and they are most known for their fabulous hair extensions. Since I wear hijab I wasn't as interested in the hair extensions because I wouldn't have much use for them. So they offered to send me some of their hair tools and I was very excited to receive their Sapphire 8 in 1 curling wand set. This set is incredible and comes with every possible wand one could need to achieve beautiful hairstyles.
The leather pouch is such good quality! I was very impressed!
I am the laziest person alive and when it comes to my hair I never bother to do anything with it. It stays in a bun always at home and then I wear hijab when I go out. But I'm married and sometimes I wanna look good for my husband and this curling wand makes it easy.
I have tried all of the wands and I LOVE them! It doesn't take too much time at all and its so nice to do something different wih my hair for once!

These guys have thought of it all! It comes with a glove so you don't burn your hands. Each wand has a rubber tip that does not heat up which helps because that way you won't burn your forehead or neck. And it also comes with a little portable holder that you can set the wand on without burning furniture between curls! I litterally can't say one bad thing!
This is the little holder that you can rest the wand on while its hot.
They also kindly offered me a discount code for you guys! If you use the code IrresistibleJenan it will get you 10% the whole website! You can buy the set here! The code is NOT an affiliate link so I will not be making any commission from this! You guys, this product is so worth it!

They have amazing hair extensions too in a variety of colours. I've attached a video below so you guys can check out the different hair extensions they offer in the different hair colours!

August Beauty Favourites

Hello Lovelies!

I am back with my August favourites! This month has been a very busy month for me as I am preparing to go on a trip with my husband. I'll talk a little more about that later hopefully. I don't have too many things this month because I haven't had the time to use a lot of different things. Either way on with the favourites!

Alrighty! On with my favourites!
First up is my MUFE Correcting Primer. It is a green tone primer and it completely eliminates any redness in my skin. I have been finding because of exporsure to sunlight this summer that my face has tanned quite a bit and the redness shows through a little more. So this primer has been great for that.
This is a liquid lipstick that dries completely matte!
This is the Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in the shade Lolita. It is a gorgeous shade that I have been rocking a lot this month. It is a deep mauve with major brown undertones. I love how it compliments my tan so much!
Next is my Custom Buxom eyeshadow palette. I have been using this palette all the time this month. It is so pretty and it inspires me to get creative with my eye looks. These shadows are incredibly smooth and have basically no fallout.
This is my MAC fix + in the rose scent. It is so fresh smelling and I have been using it alot to spray my brushes before applying my foundation this month. My skin just feels so dry lately so it makes foundation blending so much easier.
Next is my Glamglow Supermud mud mask. I love this mask so much. It has a hefty price tag but its worth every penny in my opinion. It declogs my pores like nothing else and gets rid of any random breakout or zit that I get.
Last is my blush pan from Makeup Geek called Infatuation. This blush is a brick coloured orange. It is matte and looks so great with a tan. I love it and have been using it so much this month. These blushes are fabulous and I recommend this line so much!

That is all of favourites for this month my lovelies! Hope you enjoyed!
Let me know what you think!

What's In My Z-Palette?

Hello Lovelies!

Since I am travelling soon I decided to reorganize my eyeshadows into one Z palette that I can take with me. I thought I would share those shadows with you guys so enjoy!
A lot of people ask me about affordable eyeshadows that are good quality and so I have to recommend Makeup Geek 100%. Most of my eyeshadows are from Makeup Geek as they are incredible quality and really affordable. I also have a few from Morphe and NYX in the mix here but they aren't as great as the ones from Makeup Geek.
The shadows I have in here are a combination of Makeup Geek shadows and Morphe.
These shadows are my go to shadows. When I don't want to think about it I reach for my z-palette. It has all of my reliable shadows that I use on a daily basis and I recommend whole heartedly!
 MUG = Makeup Geek
There is also a mix of some of Makeup Geek's regular eyeshadows and some of their foiled shadows. Their foiled shadows have a different formula that makes them look incredibly metallic which you can see in the swatches below!
Swatches below! You can tell these are some of the best mattes on the market!

You can tell there are a few shades that are not overly pigmented, those ones are not by Makeup Geek. Regardless of how they swatch though they do apply well to the eyes.

You don't have to buy a Naked palette or get MAC shadows to get good quality eyeshadows. In fact Makeup Geek is hundred times better than UD and MAC in my opinion! Anyway I hope you enjoyed this! Let me know if you own any of these shadows and your thoughts!

Worth the splurge makeup!

Hello Lovelies!

I thought I would share some of my high end products that are 100% worth every penny! All of these products are one that I use regularly and I would repurchase in a heart beat! They are expensive but so worth it.
These products are my favourite splurges ever! I feel so luxe using them and they come packaged so beautifully!
Obviously there are dupes for these items and products that do the same thing but once in a while I like to treat myself to a luxury product.

These products are so worth the splurge in my opinion! I love them and use them regularly and will 100% repurchase!
First up is the YSL Volupté Tint-in-oil lip gloss.
Shade 8 Pink About Me, retails for $35 CAD.
This product at first seemed so over priced for what it is. I could not understand for the life of me why someone would pay $35 for a lip balm type product. Then Sephora was offering it as a little foil packet sample on their site with purchase so I ordered it to try and was blown away! It feels so amazing. Its a thick sheer gloss that feels like an oil but without the gross greasiness. I loved it and purchased a full size immediately!
Next is the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel.
Retails for $29 and for what it is may be expensive but I constantly repurchase this because I have big bushy brows and this is the only thing that holds them together!
Next up is the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop highlighter! I love it so much and have raved about it plenty. It is a pretty penny and sells for $46 but it is incredible! It works on every skin tone and it blows me away every time I use it!
This is another Becca Highlighter in the shade Opal. This also retails for $46. This was the first highlighter that was all hyped up. I bought it because Jaclyn Hill raved about it and as usual I was not disappointed. This highlight is incredible. It is a beautiful beige-pink glow that can be seen from outerspace! I love it and it was worth every penny!
Last but certainly not least is my Marc Jacobs #Instamarc light filtering highlight and contouring powder duo. I have the shade Mirage Filter 40 and it retails for $59.
This duo is amazing! The contour shade is absolute perfection, not too warm or too cool.  The highlight shade brightens under the eyes so well! I use this pretty much every day and have made quite a substantial dent in it! Definitely worth the splurge on this baby!

Well those are all of my luxe products that I believe are 100% worth the splurge! You by no means need to run out and buy these but if you ever wanna treat yourself, these are great!
Let me know what your worth the splurge products are!

Eyeshadow look: Buxom Custom Palette

Hello Lovelies!

A few people have requested a look using this palette on snapchat and my blog so here it is!
I did this look using every shade in the palette! I love it and I think they compliment each other really well!
First I started with the shade Invite Only and blended it pretty much all over the eye so the shades can blend together smoothly.
Then I went in with the shade Filthy Rich and buffed it into my outer corner and crease area.
Then I took La-la-lavish and patted it all over the lid.
I then took the shade Posh Purple and used it to deepen the outer corner.
I took Party Girl and really pushed it into my inner corner for an intense pop of colour.
Then I blended the shade Luxe Life on the bottom lash line a nice pop of blue
I love this look so much and it was so easy to do using these shadows, none of them were difficult to use!
In this shot you can kind of see the blue irredescent shift on my lid!

Then I topped it with some mascara and winged liner and here is the final look!
I hope you like it, I know I certainly did (mashallah)! Let me know what you think!

Makeup Review: Buxom Custom Eyeshadow Palette

Hello Lovelies!

When Buxom released eyeshadows I was very excited to try them! They came up with a very nice and unique idea. They have individual eyeshadows and empty palettes. The palette is $50 and you can choose 6 shades to fill the palette. Each shadow costs $15 individually, however when you order them with the palette, the price gets knocked down to $50.
I had heard so many great things about these shadows and was so excited that I could choose the shades I wanted and get them in palette form without being way too expensive.
The shadows each come individually packaged as well as the palette.
There is a little insert that pops out of the palette allowing you to place the shadows in whatever order you want and then insert them into the palette.
These are the six shades I chose. I wanted colours that I mostly don't already have but also some neutral matte shadows to blend into the crease. Honestly the way to truly test out a company's shadows and know they're good is if they can make a great matte brown!
This is my absolute favourite of the bunch! It is a stunning purple with silver and blue shift. It blew me away when I swatched it! So pigmented and gorgeous when it catches the light!
This is a matte terracota brown. It blended in my crease so smooth and incredible! Very comparable to my makeup geek shadows! It was not chalky at all and had no fall out! Great shade!
I love me a hot pink eyeshadow and this one was so pretty! It looks gorgeous blended on the bottom lash line!
Posh purple is a gorgeous royal purple metallic shade. I love using it with the shade below called luxe life!
This is a stunning periwinkle blue. I love it! It has small shimmer particles but they don't come off on the skin whatsoever so I would consider it a matte. Its very vibrant and pigmented, I was really impressed!
I love my warm brown eyeshadows so I had to get this shade! Its beautiful in the crease or buffed into the outer corner of the eye! Classic shade everyone needs in their collection!
Here you can see the shadows in the insert. It slides into the side of the palette.
I just love these shades! I can do so much with them, especially since I have tons of events coming up this fall!
Above is the shadows swatched in sunlight
These are them swatched in daylight. La-la-lavish isn't showing up true to colour! Its incredible in person!
They are so pretty! I love them!

So there you have it, I highly recommend these Buxom palettes and I give them major props because their eyeshadows are so great! You can purchase these shadows on Sephora's website or in stores!

Let me know what you think!
