Review: THEFACESHOP Sheet Masks

Hello Lovelies!

So I don't usually talk about my skin care because honestly I dont have much of a routine or anything. I try so many different products and dont really ever use the same things. But I want to talk more about the stuff I use so that you guys have an idea. To start, I wanted to review these face masks by THEFACESHOP.

I was lucky enough to get sent these face masks but that will not sway my review whatsoever. I pride myself on being honest about products and that will never change!
These are the three masks I've tried and I have to say I really like them! Two of them are hydro gel masks and they feel really cool to the touch. It feels like a gel mask, different to other sheet masks I've tried.
The kelp mask was a sheet mask, not hydro gel material.
I wore them each for about 20 minutes comfortably.
This one made with blood orange extract was my favourite. I used all of these in the evening and in the morning when I put my makeup on, my skin was plump and moisturized. The fact that this is kind of a gel sheet made them stick to my skin and not fall off like other masks do. I liked this one and give it an 8/10.
This kelp face mask was different than the other two. It wasn't a hydro gel mask. It was a full sheet mask and it smelled sooooo good! I loved this one! It felt so nice and hydrating on my skin! Same effect as the other two masks but the fact that it was a full sheet and not split into two made it really easy to use. I give this one a 10/10! Love it!
The starfruit extract mask made my skin feel a little tighter after which was nice! They all were very nice and definitely moisturized my skin. This was also a hydro gel sheet mask. I give this one an 8/10
The one thing I really didn't like about the two larger hydro gel masks was that they were so messy and difficult to get out of the packaging.
I definitely recommend applying them over a sink because they drip and they are stuck on to sheets of plastic that make them a bit tricky to apply. Also I wish they came as one full face sheet. They come split into pieces and so that was a little annoying.
As you can see it comes in two parts.
As for the product itself, I think they are amazing and I noticed how moisturized my skin was after one use. The product sunk into my skin and didn't just sit on top. I really like them and will most likely be repurchasing them!
Of the three my favourite was the kelp mask. I wish it had the hydro gel feel to the sheet like the others did, but the fact that it came in one piece made it the best of the three!

Hope you guys enjoyed, let me know what face masks are your favourite!

My Most Repurchased Beauty Products

Hello Lovelies!

I think one of the best feelings when you're a beauty junkie is when you actually finish a product. It makes me feel accomplished almost! lol I know its silly but I buy a lot of things and so its nice to actually hit pan or pump the last bit of product out. I have quite a few things that I've repurchased several times and so I thought I would share them!
I love these products so much. Most of them could easily fall into my HG status products. I've bought each of these at least 3 times + so I figured I would share them with you!
Ok let's start!
To start with mascaras, my two absolute ride or die mascaras happen to be from the drug store. The drug store is loaded with incredible mascaras and I genuinely believe that I would never need to buy a $30 mascara to achieve the look that I want. I usually use these together and I've repurchased them tons of times! They dont smudge and give me length and volume.
I love these lip balms so much! I have repurchased both many times. I use a lip balm everyday under my lip colours to give my lips a plump look so that they are not dry or cracked.
These are face products that I have repurchased several times! I love the Rimmel stay matte powder, its affordable and it keeps matte! Its also great for touching up during the day. I also love my EX1 invisiwear which I have raved about several times! Its amazing and cheaper than high end foundations while also giving a natural beautiful look to the skin. I buy mine from a website called Lookfantastic.
These concealers are everything!! I love them so much, I use them under my eyes and to highlight. They don't crease on me and they don't budge all day! I use either one pretty much every time I wear makeup. I have repurchased them both several times and I wish I could find a cheaper alternative at the drugstore because they are both a little expensive but the drugstore just doesn't have a concealer that lasts 8+ hours on me!
This is my favourite primer of all time and unfortuntely it is super freaking expensive. I almost regret trying it because I love it and can't stop getting it because it does wonders for my oily skin. So basically I keep buying the travel size for $21 because the full size is $65 here! That is more expensive than any makeup I own and I just can't justify buying the full size! But I love it and I've repurchased it like 6 times!
MAC fix + is an essential in my collection. I use it all the time and love it, I've also raved about this several times so I won't go too in depth but its great and I've definitely repurchased several times!
Last but not least is my ride or die lip liner, Avon lip liner in mystery mauve. This liner is perfect for any lip colour and I use it all the time! I've run out of this twice this year, thats how crazy I am about this lip liner!
So these are all my most repurchased products!
Hope you guys enjoyed!

Makeup Review: ABH Shadow Couture World Traveler Palette

Hello Lovelies!

Over the past few weeks the makeup world has been crazy! It has been one big launch after the other and for every beauty addict, it is hard to keep up with everything, especially for our poor wallet's sake. I have quite a long wishlist right now but I decided to get one thing that I have been waiting patiently for which was this beautiful palette.
This is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture World Traveler Palette. Phew that was long, doesn't exactly roll off the tongue easily. Either way I have been super excited for this palette to come out and it did not disappoint!

The packaging is classy as usual. I think it definitely suits the fall theme! (PS: this palette is part of their fall collection)
The colours capture the essence of fall perfectly in my opinion.
I just love the warm tones in some of these gorgeous shades!
Soft Peach - Matte
Morocco - Matte
Spoiled - Satin
Fudge - Matte
Heirloom - Matte purple/blue with glitter
Bellini - Shimmery
Azure - foiled metallic
Intense gaze - Satin

Pink Champagne - Glitter/intense metallic
Chic - Dusty shimmer
Metallic - intense metallic
Noir - matte
I love the colours so much! The main reason I bought this palette was for the shades Morocco and Fudge! They are such gorgeous mattes and the pigmentation is flawless!
Above are the first row of shades swatched with my finger. No primer whatsoever. Photo was taken in natural daylight.
Above are the swatches with flash.
Second row of swatches. These just blew me away, all of these were just one dip into the pan and one swipe pigmentation. No crazy fallout and kick up! Just amazing, especially noir! Black shades are hard to formulate and they did it right with this one!
Once again, with flash.
This is the brush that comes in the palette and I actually really like it. ABH always puts nice brushes that can actually be used. It has a fluffy side and a stiff dome shape side. They are soft and blend the shadows really well!

Overall I love this palette and will definitely get some great use out of it! I give it 10/10 so definitely pick this up if you can!
Let me know whats on your beauty wishlist, I'm going to post an updated wishlist soon!

Eid MOTD

Hello Lovelies!

Eid Mubarak to all my lovely readers that celebrate Eid! I thought I would show you guys my makeup for Eid. I always go super glam for Eid and I love to use glitter on my lids for an extra touch! I will list all the makeup used that day below!
When I have a very glittery eye, I like to wear a neutral lip so I chose more of a nude lipstick.
The lipstick shade I was wearing was NYX soft matte lip cream in Cannes.
The glitter lids were really popping! They definitely made a statement. I love the UD heavy metal glitter liners because it makes applying glitter super easy!

Products used:
MUG (Makeupgeek) Creme-Brulée in the crease
MUG Cocoa bear and Bitten blended in the outer corner
MUG Foiled shadow in Magic Act on the lid and on inner corner
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in Midnight Cowboy on the lid
NYC Liquid Liner used for the wing liner
Benefit They're Real Black Mascara

July Ipsy Glambag

Hello Lovelies!

I got my Ipsy bag yesterday and I was so happy with it so I decided to share what I got! I was very impressed this month with the products we got sent!
This is the summer bag and obviously the items in the bag are very summer oriented!

I love the bag! Its so cute and perfect for Summer!
This is a nice little spray to help give a gorgeous beachy look to the hair. It adds texture to the hair just like a salt spray should!
This was definitely the most intriguing product of the bunch. The colours look so beautiful for summer.
The formula on these shadows is really interesting. It feels so soft and almost gel like. The shades are hard and feel creamy to the touch, its really weird! But it gives off good pigmentation and I was really impressed by it!
They are have a shimmery/metallic formula. It feels and looks very satin like.
This shade of Essie polish is so cute! I don't acutally own any mint greens so I was very happy to receive this little number in my bag!
Its called Fashion Playground!
We got this lip balm as well from Be a bombshell and I like the brand in general. This lip balm smells and tastes nice and is quite moisturizing as well.
Next is an exfoliating cleanser. I really like exfoliating cleansers because it feels more effective at getting rid of the dead skin on my face. I just feel more clean when I use one and this little guy was really nice and gentle.
This is the card that came with the bag!
These are all the things I got in my Ipsy bag! I was really happy with what I got this month. If you want to join click here!
